Really Great Customer Service and very beautiful thangka collection.
This is a magnificent piece of Buddha Shakyamuni thangka. Masterfully executed in rich, vibrant colors with illuminating detail; The silk brocade frame compliments the painting beautifully and forms a focal point in our praying/meditation room I receive the piece earlier than expected in good shape; and prior to purchase, Rajendra was responding quickly and very helpful in providing high resolution picture for my further evaluation. Thank you Rajendra and surely I will be back again.

Oil Varnished Buddha Life Story Thangka:
This vintage thangka, acquired in the 1980s, is a spiritually significant artwork that depicts the life of Siddhartha Gautama, who later became the Buddha. These Thangkas are detailed paintings that depict Siddhartha's journey to enlightenment, including his birth into royalty, his renunciation of worldly life for spiritual truth, and his ultimate enlightenment under the Bodhi tree. The Thangka also illustrates the Buddha's teachings and his passing into Parinirvana, each with deep symbolism. These Thangkas serve as visual meditative aids, conveying essential Buddhist principles of suffering, liberation, and enlightenment. The Thangka is a traditional Tibetan Buddhist painting on fabric, meticulously hand-painted by skilled artists, and serves as a visual narrative of his life and teachings. The painting is finished and protected using oil varnishing, which enhances colors, adds depth, and safeguards it from dust, moisture, and environmental factors. This preservation ensures the Thangka's beauty and significance endure for generations, maintaining its sacredness and artistic value.
The Oil Varnished Vintage Buddha Life Story Thangka is a unique, hand-painted artwork that captures the Buddha's life journey from birth to nirvana. Its vintage style and vibrant colors add timeless elegance to any room, making it a perfect choice for meditation, focal points, or sacred art.
