Description

Ekajati:

In Vajrayana Buddhism, notably in the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism, Ekajati is a potent protector deity. She is frequently portrayed as a furious goddess with blue skin, one breast, one leg, and one eye.

Ekajati is seen in Tibetan Buddhism as a strong force capable of removing obstructions, shielding practitioners from harm, and supporting them in their spiritual endeavors. She is regarded as a custodian of the teachings and is thought to have contributed significantly to keeping the Nyingma lineage alive.

Ekajati represents the strength and energy required to overcome challenges and advance spiritually. She personifies the wrathful part of the feminine. She is occasionally shown with a vajra, a representation of spiritual strength, and a skull cup, a representation of metamorphosis.
