White Dzambala, also known as Dzambhala or Jambhala, is a revered wealth deity in Tibetan Buddhism. He is considered one of the Four Heavenly Kings and is associated with prosperity, abundance, and the granting of material and spiritual wealth. White Dzambala is depicted holding a mongoose that spouts jewels, symbolizing the bestowal of wealth and fortune upon devotees.
According to Buddhist tradition, White Dzambala once lived as a king named Indra in a previous life. Upon hearing the teachings of Buddha Shakyamuni on generosity and compassion, he aspired to attain enlightenment and vowed to benefit beings through the bestowal of wealth.
